Dear Deadly Sins,
I've noticed that in your fan videos from Maine's Lina High School, are made with professional video cameras. The fan site dedicated for you guys is a bit ammeatur. And I wanted to ask your opinion on my all HTML site dedicated to you guys. My friends find it amazing that I made it but I just was shocked with myself that I made it. Not only that but now two other bands has asked me to make their band a site. Please look at this site: www.thedeadlysins.org
From, Sally(Loves DS)
Lance stared at the screen. He clicked the url and found himself at a professional HTML page.
He was amazed. So was Josh.
"Hey, dude, this Sally girl is amazing! She made this herself."
Lance moved his head so Emerson could see. Where was Daina when they really needed to show her?
With Travis...hands down.
Dear Sally(Loves DS),
Amazing work! Deadly Sins approves of your site! Yes, our videos from Lina's site are made with professional video cameras. Our school provided us with them. The drama club decided to make a project on us and the school newspaper finally got the idea into the boards head we NEEDED the camera. Our old site from the school was made off of another site. It wasn't made in such HTML. Thank you and please, update the site when necessary.
Thanks for the support, Lance+Daina+Emerson+Josh
Lance shook his head. "People these days..."
Emerson laid his hand on Lance's shoulder. "I just called Daina...she said she's sorry she didn't show up here."
Lance rolled his eyes and looked up at Emerson. "I don't care anymore. She's not helping us anymore."
Josh turned his head. "What?"
"She's not one of us anymore. She's always following Travis. And I know Travis is trying to push her away so she can be with us more."
Josh sat up. "Well, he needs to try harder. She's not getting the point that she left us for Travis."
Lance got up from the chair. "We have to tell him to do something about it."
Emerson looked down at Josh. "Josh, don't you talk to him?"
Josh took a quick glance at his phone. "I guess you could say that."
"Do you or don't you?" Emerson said, sternly.
Josh slowly nodded his head.
Emerson snatched his phone from the carpet. "What?! Don't!!" He cried reaching for his phone.
Josh reached up but Emerson pulled away. "Nope. We're gonna get him to get her to manage her time. Some time with him and some time with us."
He looked through Josh's contacts as Josh settled back on the carpet. "Ugh. You are a meanie, Emerson."
"Hello?...Hi, this is Emerson...Johnson. From Deadly Sins...Yeah, I know, I know..."
Emerson looked out the window.
"You're with her right now?...Ok good, we need you to convince her that she's spending less and less time with the band SHE formed. Could you do that?...Ok, cool."
He hung up and threw Josh his phone. Emerson pulled his hood over his head. "He said he would try. And he's gonna do it now."
lost.soul : and how did it go?
boyohboy.travie : uh, she said that everything was fine the way things were now.
lost.soul : no she didn't say that! fuck it! she may as well drop out of the band!
lost.soul : travis, tell her forget. this band is going to be over if she doesn't get back with us.
boyohboy.travie : ok. but i dont know.
lost.soul : come on travis. you're about to save a well known band that's not even famous.
boyohboy.travie : ok. for sure, just cause you said that i'll do it. :]
lost.soul : thanks. your a cool kid. :D
Emerson signed off right away. He looked back at his sister, Bria.
"I haven't seen Daina around. Where is she?" She asked. Bria and Daina had a bond.
Emerson shrugged. "I guess you can say that her boyfriend has gotten the best of her."
Bria walked over next to her younger brother. "Em, your 17 and you're such a great kid. Don't let Daina ruin your chances of becoming something bigger. I want the best for you. And smoking was never one of them."
Emerson looked to his hands. "I know, Bria."
Two streets over, Lance was arguing with his sister, Carol.
"So?! Daina's probably happy without you guys around! She's probably having a party because you guys stopped bugging her!" She yelled as if Lance were deaf.
"Carol, shut up. You don't Daina like we do. She loves us, no matter what." Lance calmly said while typing a reply to a fan message to him.
"Lance! You're the one going around saying how Daina is ignoring your guys! You're the one that needs to shut up!"
Lance ignored her.
"My GOD! You NEVER will understand anything in this world! You only concentrate on your little dream of becoming famous and being known around the world! NO! LANCE, NO! YOU'RE NOT GOING TO MAKE IT ANYWHERE!"
Lance shut his laptop and stood up in front of his sister. "Only time can tell Carrie. I'll find out when I'm a bit older."
Carol backed away from her brother. "Lance Zachary Mason. I fucking hate you."
Lance watched as his sister turned around and left his room. He wanted to get away from her.
He wanted to leave so badly.
Two houses down from Emerson, Josh talked to his mom.
"Mom, I don't know what to do with Daina. I never see her anymore." He sadly said.
His mother cut up the vegetables for their family soup. "Well, honey, you're going to need to forget about her."
Josh grabbed his hoodie. "Would you mind?"
She looked over to him as he reached for the door knob. "Joshua, only if you understand the mistake you are about to make."
Josh turned the knob and walked out the door.
The pale sky was Josh's only company.
The warm breeze made Josh shiver. "Damn, it's cold." He mumbled.
"Josh!" Josh turned his head and saw Emerson running up behind him.
Bria right behind him.
"Me and Bria are going to Daina's. Tonight is our BIG show. We need to get her to understand our problem right now."
He paused and looked to Josh.
Bria appeared at Josh's other side. "Where are you going?" She asked.
Josh pointed to the beach house. "There."
They smiled. "To Daina's it is."
