I think I like you ...



Daina held her breathe as she backspaced all the words she had braced herself to type.

She couldn't do anything about it.

Her feelings for Travis were growing minute by minute.

And he had only been in school for one day.

She convinced herself she was in love with him.



Emerson pushed past Lance and Josh, who were watching Daina type, and sat next to her on teh same chair.

"Ok, Day. Get on the IM and talk to him. Sending him a stupid email won't help you, me, Joshie or Lance."

She shook her head. "No. I decided not to tell him."

Lance's eyes widened. "Girl, sit your ass down and get on that IM."

Daina's shoulders were forced back on the seat.

"Fine."

Daina searched her list for Travis's screen name and finally saw it.

Emerson pushed her hand over so the mouse was highlighting his name. "Now, click." He babied her.

Lance chuckled in the back.

Josh kept a straight face.

boyohboy.travie : hey. i saw u today. u look better in person. :]
x0kitty.musex0 : u saw me? i didnt see u anywhere? and thank you. :)
boyohboy.travie : @ school. i saw u there. i've been transferred to ur school.
x0kitty.musex0 : uhh...i didnt notice u at all in our wing.
boyohboy.travie : i swear i thought u looked right @ me. well, anyway...

boyohboy.travie : listen, im in ur english class. please, talk to me tomorrow. i would really like to talk to u.

joshie boy : listen to me. im josh. drummer from deadly sins...im sitting right behind daina and she's so...
boyohboy.travie : woah! ur josh? how can i trust u? and how are you right behind daina? its a school day.
joshie boy : LISTEN!
joshie boy : jeez.
joshie boy : trust me. im josh. questionairre later. not now.
boyohboy. travie : okkk. well then...keep going. im at your full attention.
joshie boy : daina really likes u. she's feigning the fact that she REALLY likes u.
joshie boy : she's lying when she says that she didnt see u at all today.
boyohboy.travie : oh?
joshie boy : she was practically drooling over u at lunch. soooo, dont even get me started.
boyohboy. travie : ok...but...what am i supposed to do about it?
joshie boy : if u like her tell her. she likes it when a guy is honest.
boyohboy.travie : ok then. ill tell her...stuff.


boyohboy.travie : sorry...one of my old friends.

boyohboy.travie : i dont know how to say this but...
boyohboy.travie : i really like you...as in anything more than a friend.

boyohboy.travie : so when is ur next show?
x0kitty.musex0 : lol, hold it. u wanna come to our next show?
boyohboy.travie : yeah. y not?
x0kitty.musex0 : i dont have a problem with it. but our shows end very late. around midnight.
boyohboy.travie : so? i dont care. i wanna see u guys perform no matter what.
boyohboy.travie : plus, seeing u would be my main priority.
x0kitty.musex0 : why thank you. i have to go. practice in my garage.

Daina smiled as she set her away message.
They opened the garage and set up their equipment.
The neighbors were nice enough to mind the noise they were about to make.
At least the sea didn't mind one bit.
