|Entry#13: Dear Drew|

Drew paced his office. "Sorry Pete for calling so many times...but like I said in the last fifty messages, I found an awesome band for you to sign. Call me back when you get this."
He shut his phone and looked out his window. "Now what?" His assistant asked.
He shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. I guess I would have to wait for his call."
She smiled. "Oh Drew. We all know you're going to keep calling." They both laughed.
The phone started to ring in Drew's hands.
He looked at the caller ID.
Petey Panda

"PETE! I've been calling you for the past half hour!" Drew exclaimed.
"Sorry, man! I left my phone on the bus and we took a stop in New York." At least he had an excuse.
Drew chuckled. "Ok, well did you hear my first ten messages?"
Pete laughed on the other end. "I heard the first one but obviously I didn't bother to listen to the other ones."

Drew chuckled again.

"Well, can you? Maybe fly over to Connecticut and fly over to your next show and meet the band there. You have to. These kids are desperate."

Pete groaned. "I don't know. That would be a lot of money. And it would be for a day maybe."

Drew turned around, hearing an odd but familiar voice. He shut hs phone and saw Pete standing at his door frame.

"Julie called me yesterday and I decided to fly in today. So, where's the band?"

Drew shrugged. "The lead singer gave me her cell number and so did their guitarist. But I'm better off calling the guitarist."

He flipped open his phone and looked through his contacts.

He saw Daina then Lance.

"Alright, I'll call him. Sit down." He offered a seat to Pete, who immediately sat down and stretched out.

Pete yawned as Drew started speaking again. "Hey, Drew." Lance's voice rang as if he were sleeping.

"Lance! My growing boy. I have Pete with me right this second. Do you want to meet up with him somewhere or come down to my office?" He looked to his watch.
"Woah! What?!" He sounded as if he hit something.
"Pete Wentz is with me at this very second. He's here for a bit...you know how I told you a couple days ago about him? Well, I called him so many times...he decided to deal with me in person. So, hit me up. Here at my office or a meet-up?"

In the background, Lance shook Daina awake. "Day! Drew has Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy! He wants to listen to us!"
Daina rose up from Pete's name mentioned. "NO WAY! Let's get dressed and get to Drew's! I have to wake up everyone!" She jumped out of the bed.
Lance looked back to the phone. "We'll see you at your office! See you soon!" He hung up right away and got dressed.
Daina rushed to the three doors down the hall.
Emerson poked his head out in the hall. "What, Day?!"
"PETE! GET DRESSED! NOW!"
He was shocked. "WHAT?! JOSH! HURRY! PETE!"

Cassidy and Darren emerged from their room with the happy news.
Jason, Harvey, and Travis weren't even awake to hear the news of Pete Wentz.
Lina was nowhere in sight.
And the band went off to meet up with Mr. Pete Wentz.

-15 LONG minutes later-

"We're here to see Drew Fozner." Daina said, out of breathe.
The woman looked up at Daina and the boys. "Do you have an appointment?"
They looked uneasy towards each other.
Drew's office door opened. "Daina! Boys! Please, come right in." He held the door open for them.
Daina started sweating.
Lance's heart started to speed.
Emerson was about to faint.
Josh was fine.
Why? We just didn't know.

Drew's head turned to his office. Another voice was behind the wall as they came closer to the door.
"Is that them?" The voice asked.
So familiar.
Who could it be?
"Of course. Anas amazing as they look know...imagine them on stage making so much money and so much fame for you and for themselves." Drew said.
Daina stepped in first. Pete's eyes widened with a huge grin.
"You must be the lead singer. The only girl in the band." He must have been amazed.
She nodded her head and went to say something. "Daina. My name's Daina."
He smiled once again. "Good sense of style, Daina."
She blushed and nodded her head in thanks.

Lance, Emerson, and Josh walked in.
Emerson had the most impact of Pete's precense.
"Wow, you guys look better in person. I bet you sound awesome too. So, what do you have to show?" Pete asked.
Daina looked to Drew and Drew nodded his head.
She walked over to his computer and spun the moniter to face Pete.
"We've had our own shows up in Maine. And the most popular place that people come to see us is our high school. We have our own stage crew and it is only four people." She paused and opened a browser.
Pete nodded his head but spoke. "Four people only? Well, I'm gonna fix that. You're going to have those four people and more. I can see you guys having a lot of different equipment. That tend to need a lot more people."
She smiled to herself and typed into the address bar,

http://www.myspace.com/thedeadlysins

The page quickly uploaded and she watched as Pete examined the page. "And this is all you guys?"
Daina nodded. "We brought up the band two years ago. And since then we've gotten fans from across our nation. We only had enough money to perform in Maine."
Pete scooted his chair closer to the screen. "Who took the videos?"
Lance stepped up. "My friend Danny. He's all a personal friend. He's worked with all kinds of cameras and we would prefer him over anyone else."
Pete pointed to one of them. "Can you play one? I just want to hear one of the songs you guys have written."

Daina clicked the play button and turned up the volume.
After the video finished, Pete smiled.
Danny caught a glimpse of everything and everyone.
Pete looked to Daina then to the boys. "Well, if there is anything you'd like to show me...show me in the recording studio because that's where you guys are going next. Big time is about to meet The Deadly Sins."
Daina shot up from the chair and grabbed Pete into a tight hug. "THANK YOU SO MUCH!"
Pete laughed and held his arm around her waist as he looked to the boys. "So, how about it?"
Lance, Emerson, and Josh looked to eachother and nodded their heads. "Hell yeah! This is gonna be the best thing ever!"

The best thing to hit history since The Rolling Stones...
